The AFU foundation will have a (belated) annual board meeting in two weeks time, on December 16.
The residual list of projects is enormous. Core administrative matters have been pushed aside for years by a formidable avalanche of interesting and important collections arriving here, sometimes on an almost weekly basis.
With disappearing government subsidies for employees and rents we are desperately seeking new ways of funding. If you have any tips on this front, please contact any member of our board.
We are a well-functioning foundation that we believe noone really would want left out in the cold. It seems everyone speaks well of us, especially all people who have paid us a visit and in that way come to understand the limitations we have to endure.
Without salaried people and effective facilities we will have to stop collecting, digitizing, cataloguing and selling second-hand items. This will happen during 2017.
To give you arguments for your own support, and helping us find new support, we post, here, annual reports for the foundation for 2014 and 2015, as well as two economic reports. One of them shows our economy for 2015 with columns for US dollars and Euros; the other report shows our enormous retrospective development for the past ten years.
Please spread the word – and our reports – to anyone you think can help us out!
